Who is a business account intended for?
Business purchasing is intended for makers and creative entrepreneurs who regularly use materials. Smaller studios and starting makers can also apply for a business account.
Is there a minimum purchase?
No. You order just like private customers, without a minimum purchase. You can order exactly what you need.
Can I purchase larger quantities?
Yes. I have a large stock and many colors are exclusive to Hugs & Things produced. If you need large quantities, I would be happy to think along with you.
How do I request a business account?
Complete the form on this page with your company details. Once I have verified your request, I will convert your account to business terms and you will receive a confirmation.
How does VAT reverse charge work for EU customers?
VAT can be reverse charged for orders from other EU countries. Enter your valid EU VAT number and indicate in the form that you want to have VAT reverse charged. I check the number manually via VIES and then set it for you.
How quickly will my application be processed?
Usually within 1–2 business days. During busy periods or holidays it may take a little longer, but I will always let you know as soon as your account has been converted.
How do I see that my business conditions are active?
Once your account is converted, your business benefits will be automatically applied to your shopping cart. You don't have to use discount codes.
What about shipping costs?
Business customers pay the same shipping costs as private customers. Free shipping also applies to business orders.
Can I pay an invoice afterwards?
Yes, you can do that via Billink. I don't work on account.
Do I have access to the entire range?
Yes, as a business customer you can order from the full range. Any bulk options (when available) will automatically become visible for business accounts.
Are the beads safe and certified?
Yes. My silicone beads are produced in accordance with the applicable European safety guidelines for materials suitable for use in baby items. As a business customer, you receive access to the relevant test reports and certificates, so that you can demonstrate that your end products have been safely formulated.
Please note: the safety of the final product (such as a pacifier clip, teething ring or other item) depends on how it is assembled and tested. As a maker you are responsible for the final inspection and compliance with the standards.
Can I download certificates?
Yes. As a business customer you get access to a secure page where you can download the available test reports and certificates.
Do you also deliver to countries outside the EU?
Yes, I ship worldwide (Except to the US, at this time). Please note that import duties, local taxes and customs procedures vary by country. These costs are borne by the recipient.
Are the prices on the website inclusive or exclusive of VAT?
For customers in the Netherlands, prices are shown including VAT.
For EU business customers with a validated VAT number, VAT is automatically reverse-charged.
Can I order urgently?
Orders received early in the day on working days are usually shipped the same day. Are you really urgent? Please contact us. I like to see what is possible.
