Pacifier clips are also subject to specific safety guidelines in Europe.

When a pacifier clip is used in a pacifier chain, factors such as ventilation holes, attachment and intended use are considered, among other things, to minimize risks such as choking as much as possible.

Most of the wooden pacifier clips in my range are made in Europe and have been assessed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The small natural wooden clips have also been tested to the latest standards.

The silicone pacifier clips were independently tested as a standalone component on my behalf, in accordance with European safety standards. These tests relate to the pacifier clip itself and say nothing about the safety or suitability of a homemade finished product.

When making a pacifier chain, it remains important that the complete finished product—including its composition, attachment and use—is assembled and checked in accordance with the applicable guidelines. Responsibility for this always lies with the maker.
