When a pacifier clip is used in a pacifier cord, matters such as ventilation openings, attachment and intended use are taken into account, to minimize risks such as suffocation.
Most wooden pacifier clips in my range are produced in Europe and have been assessed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The small natural wooden clips have also been tested according to the most recent standards.
The silicone pacifier clips are on my order independently tested as a separate part according to European safety standards. These tests relate to the teat clip itself and say nothing about the safety or suitability of a homemade end product.
When making a pacifier cord it remains important that the... complete end product — including the composition, mounting and application — is constructed and checked in accordance with the applicable guidelines. The responsibility for this always lies with the maker.

Strict rules also apply to teat clips. For example, a teat clip that is used in a teat cord must, for example, be provided with ventilation holes to prevent suffocation.

I had the silicone clips tested independently, where the clips from the first factory were unfortunately rejected because of too sharp edges ... the clips that I am now selling are therefore certified. It remains important to have the end product approved too!
