After 12.5 years of building, expanding and continually adding, I now consciously choose to focus.
Hugs & Things has grown enormously in recent years. I'm proud of that. At the same time, I noticed that more is not always better. The collection became larger, the choices more numerous, but the overview slowly faded into the background.
This step feels like a logical next phase to me. Not because it has to be done, but because it is right. I want to work with a collection that is strong as a whole — colors that reinforce each other, combine well and remain available in a stable manner. Fewer loose ends, more cohesion.
With Hugs & Things 2.0 I am reducing my range to a core collection of 75 colours. A carefully chosen selection that together forms a calm, clear and easy to combine whole.
The basic shapes remain available in these 75 colors. This leaves plenty of room to design, but with more direction and overview.
The remaining colors and a large number of other products will leave the collection. focal beads and accessories are gradually becoming more selective, so that everything fits together better and the collection as a whole becomes stronger.

What keeps Hugs & Things 2.0 exactly?
Hugs & Things 2.0 means that I am redesigning my collection.
I am reducing the range to 75 core colors that combine well and together form a strong whole. Basic shapes remain available in these colors.
Bee focal beads and accessories I make choices step by step, so that everything fits together better and the collection becomes more organized.
The result is more focus, more coherence and a clear direction for the coming years.
What does Hugs & Things 2.0 for business customers?
For business customers, this means a more consistent and more combinable range with a clear core of 75 colors.
Based on what you have ordered most recently, I have made a well-considered and substantiated choice for the colors that will remain and the direction I want to go.
By working with a permanent core collection, I can maintain more targeted stock and ensure more stability and coherence. This makes it easier to purchase with confidence and keep your own collection stable.
When does the transition start?
The transition to... will start on Monday evening, March 2 Hugs & Things 2.0. From that moment on, items that do not fall within the core collection will be removed from the collection.
How do I get a discount?
The discount is applied per product.
You will therefore see the adjusted price directly with the sale items in your shopping cart, and not as one total discount amount at the bottom.
Before checking out, please check whether the code has been entered and the prices have been adjusted.
The discount only applies to products that are part of the sale.
How come I don't see a discount?
First check if you have the code SALE2026 entered at checkout.
The discount is applied per product. You will therefore see the adjusted price directly with the sale items in your shopping cart, and not as one total discount amount at the bottom.
Still don't see a price adjustment? Then it may be that:
- The product is not part of the sale
- The code has not yet been entered correctly
- The code was removed while adjusting your shopping cart

What does “remove from the collection” mean?
Items that are removed from the collection are not repurchased. The stock that is still available is being sold at an attractive discount. The following applies to these items: gone = gone.
Will colors or shapes that are removed from the collection come back later?
No. Items that are removed from the collection are not repurchased.
Why do so many colors disappear?
I have chosen to reduce my collection to 75 core colors. This means that approximately 80 colors will indeed be removed from the collection.
The range contained colors that were very similar or were more difficult to combine. By selecting more consciously, you are left with a collection that can be easily combined and together continues to cover the entire color spectrum.
I made this choice carefully and deliberately, with an eye for coherence, overview and a strong foundation for the coming years.
Will there be enough colors available?
Yes. The core collection of 75 colors remains the basis Hugs & Things. These colors have been carefully chosen to be easy to combine with each other and include both neutral and more pronounced shades.
Stay focal beads part of the range?
Yes. focal beads remain a very important part of the collection. However, I am gradually working towards a selection that perfectly matches the core colours.
What happens to the accessories?
I also make a selection within the accessories. Some products leave the collection. Where appropriate, they are replaced by accessories that are more combinable and match the new, more refined direction.
Does my B2B discount also apply to sale items? (B2B)
The sale discount is applied to the products that are removed from the collection. B2B discount is calculated in the shopping cart according to the applicable conditions.
Can I combine sales with discount codes or loyalty points? (Private)
The sale discount is applied to the products that are removed from the collection. Any automatic volume discount will be applied automatically, and it is possible to redeem loyalty points for an additional discount.
Do B2B orders retain priority during the sale? (B2B)
Yes. As always, B2B orders retain priority in processing, so that you can continue to meet your own delivery times.
Can I still reorder if something is almost sold out?
While supplies last. Items that leave the collection are not repurchased.
Are orders shipped later during the sale?
I do my utmost to stay within the usual shipping time. Due to busy times, shipping times can sometimes be a little longer, especially at the beginning of the sale.
Can I combine orders or have them added later?
During the sale it is not possible to combine orders.
If you place multiple orders, they will be shipped separately and any shipping costs will continue to apply per order. The usual discount code for additional shipping (SHIPPING) is temporarily not valid during the first week of the sale.
Can I pick up my order or come by to shop?
Collection of orders is possible by appointment.
Due to the expected crowds at the start of the sale, it is temporarily not possible to make an appointment for live shopping in the first two weeks.
This way I can process all orders carefully and as quickly as possible.
How long does the sale last?
The sale runs while supplies last.
What if a product is further discounted later?
During the sale, discounts can be adjusted at a later time. It is possible that some items will be further discounted later.
No price differences will be refunded on previous purchases.
If you want to be sure of availability, I recommend not waiting too long before ordering. For items that are being removed from the collection, the following applies: gone = gone.
I recently purchased a color cord. What does this mean for me?
During the transition, the current color cord remains usable.
However, some of the colors will be removed from the collection, meaning that the cord will no longer be fully representative in the long term.
Customers who have purchased a color cord in the past six months will receive a new version free of charge when the new cord is introduced. This will be added to a new order.
