Shipping and returns

I always ship as soon as possible!
Orders placed and paid before 10am will be shipped the same working day.
If there is a reason why I should deviate from this, you will read about it on the homepage.
Sometimes I work longer and can still take orders placed later, but I expect that I will ship orders placed after 12 noon the next day.
I work during school hours. In the afternoon after school I am at home with my children.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays I have a full working day, but the other days I pack orders between 8:30 and 13:45 at the latest. This means that I cannot always accommodate requests to ship orders placed later as priority! Orders are shipped on a first come, first served basis.

I ship all orders with PostNL, using MyParcel. Very small orders are sent in an envelope within the Netherlands. For the rest, I try to send all orders that fit in the letterbox as letterbox packages. That saves a lot of shipping costs!
For the delivery time I depend on PostNL. Within the Netherlands this means in 99% of the cases that your order will be delivered the day after dispatch. To Belgium it usually takes 2-3 working days, but sometimes longer. So don't despair if your order hasn't arrived after a few days. It rarely happens that something really doesn't arrive!
If your order is sent as a (letterbox) package, you will automatically receive an email with a track & trace number after shipment, which you can use to track your order.
Orders over 100 euros I send by registered mail. Below that your package will be sent as a standard package.
Returns:
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product(s). In the case of a full return, you will be credited with the full order amount including shipping costs.
Only the costs for returning the item from your home to the webshop are at your own expense.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you are expected to return the product with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging. If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged more than necessary to try the product, I can pass on this reduction in value of the product to you. So treat the products with care and make sure that they are well packaged when returning.
To use the right of withdrawal, you can contact me via info@hugs-and-things.nl. I will then refund the order amount due within 14 days after notification of your return, provided that the product has been received by me in good order on time.
Please note: Products that are custom made for you are excluded from return. The right of withdrawal does not apply. The sale is final after successful payment. (This also includes custom cut pieces of wire)
