From attic to mega building!
What started as a small work corner in the attic has grown in almost 12 years into a thriving company with a 150m² warehouse, filled with rows of shelving units full of colorful beads and materials, as well as a beautiful showroom where you are more than welcome to come and view all the materials in real life.
Since 2013 I went from the kitchen table to an office in the attic, to an extension to my home, to an office with external storage, to a company hall, and since September 2024 Hugs & Things is located in my dream building in Elst (GLD). This is my final destination, where I still have more than enough space to grow!
It's incredible to look back on this journey and see how Hugs & Things has grown from a dream to an established name.

Without any background in economics or marketing, I have worked entirely on feeling since the start. The result? A beautiful company with a loyal customer base and a range that I am extremely proud of. Thanks to you, my fantastic customers, this has all become possible.
What else am I planning to do?
In recent years I have expanded considerably, and I will not stop anytime soon. If you have been shopping at Hugs & Things for a while, you have certainly noticed that the assortment has grown enormously. From new figure beads to unique designs that make it even more fun to make, for example, key rings and pens.
But that's not all: many more exciting expansions are planned for the coming years!
My ultimate dream is to have (almost) all shapes in the assortment in all colors in stock. Until then, I will of course continue to expand the assortment in width, so that there is something beautiful for everyone.
