Sometimes I get the question why I am not available by telephone. The telephone number on the website is only intended for WhatsApp or SMS.
Just calling sometimes seems the fastest way if you have a question or want to consult something. Nevertheless, I consciously chose not to offer telephone accessibility, and I am happy to explain why.
I run my company alone. That means that I am doing everything on a day: packing orders, receiving shoppers in the showroom, answering emails, purchasing, photographing, working on the website, supplementing products or quickly to the wholesaler or supermarket.
So there is not someone in the office as standard to pick up the phone, and often I am just in the middle of something where I desperately need my hands or attention.
In addition, I find unexpected phone calls quite difficult due to bels. If I know that I can prepare a conversation, calling is completely fine. But being called unexpectedly causes unrest, and often I am not in a place where I can immediately look everything up or watch you with you. That does not feel pleasant for me, and is ultimately not handy for you as a customer.
What works well for me is if you send me a message. This is possible via e-mail, WhatsApp (via the number on the website), Instagram, the chat or the contact form.
This way I can answer your question calmly and completely at a time when I am sitting at my computer, with all the information at hand. You then get a clear and thoughtful answer and that is better for both of us.
